Today I’m excited to welcome back healthy recipes to the blog and I’m starting with this Mint Morning Blast Smoothie.
Sadly, my last shared recipe was posted in November of last year. I’ve shared that with a new schedule it has been difficult to try new recipes even with the best of intentions. I continue to struggle with inflammation in my body despite trying to eat clean. Fortunately, there are great smoothie recipes that can help on the days I know my body is needing some help.
If you are looking for a quick, easy and delicious smoothie – the mint morning smoothie is where you should start.
Mint Morning Blast Smoothie
- 1 Big Handful Spinach
- 1 Banana (ideally frozen)
- Small handful of Blueberries (frozen) – the original recipe calls for strawberries but I feel you can use any berry you like
- 10-12 Mint Leaves
- 1 Tbsp raw almond butter
- 1 Cup coconut (or almond) Milk
Blend high in blender with your chosen amount of ice and enjoy!
