Happy Friday Everyone!!
It’s still hard to believe that is Fall. Although the weather still continues to be warm here, it’s certainly time for fall preparation. I’m hoping to buy mums and get our front porch decorated this weekend and enjoy some college football.
I’ve taken a break from posting this week but I’ve still been taking the time to find what I love Today, I’m connecting with Meagan as co-host of Blogger Love. Without further ado, here’s what I am loving this week.
Everyone of us is continuously setting (and often not meeting) goals. Anne from Love the Here and Now shares common struggles that each of us have. I believe it is by being real with each other that we are each able to become kinder to ourselves. No one is perfect but we struggle to appear as so and often find ourselves paralyzed in the process of reaching goals.
Speaking of Fall, Alexis from Chemistry Cachet has created an excellent list of teas that simply say Fall in their name. I have to admit I don’t take the time to enjoy tea like I should and I have several of these on my shopping list.
James and I have a Halloween party to attend in October. Of course, I’m finding several ideas. It’s never too early to make a decision.
The Voice: Jordan Smith “Chandelier”
Confession: I love Sia and have been known to sing her songs karaoke style in my car, in the shower and perhaps at a bar in Vegas titled The Chandelier Bar. I do not even pretend to sing this song well but Jordan Smith totally rocked it in his The Voice audition. An added pull for me is that Jordan is from Harlan, Kentucky ( and one has to support their own). Take a few minutes and listen to him. I bet you will want to play it more than once.
High Five For Friday
Continuing on with my love for fellow Kentuckians, Tiff from Bright on a Budget is the wonderful co – host (along with Della, Caitlin and Katie) of High Five for Friday . HF4F is a fantastic weekly link-up where everyone shares their favorite finds and loves of the week.. Connecting with Tiff is another wonderful example of how blogging can connect individuals across the world and across town.
I’m also lucky enough to be the featured blogger today on H54F! Take some time to meet some wonderful bloggers and join this great link-up.
Go enjoy your weekend!
