I woke up and it’s the middle of June.
James and I have been fortunate to have full schedules over the past few weeks and it looks the same as we move towards July. I am truly trying each day to embrace doing different activities, meeting friends and not simply focusing upon the regular activities of each day. I’m hoping you are doing the same as June begins to move toward July (my favorite month of the year).
Let’s get started with a few of my favorite things of the week.
Rhinegeist is a great beer and cider brewery out of Cincinnati. Over the weekend I tried their Bubbles Rosé Ale and absolutely loved it. There is a blend of apple, peach and cranberry which makes it a great summer drink. I have to add that I took the can photo for the sake of the blog, the southern sorority girl in me tries to never drink out of a can. (It’s a long and funny story among our friends.) I’m also showing the one day that I went with out nail polish on my nails. (Keeping it real for you.)
I know many people who work in the academic world utilize mid-year calendars and I still continue to operate on that system. I received my Day Designer this week and am so excited to begin using it. I purchased the white marble midyear edition. In the past I have purchased the BlueSky Day Designer at Target but decided this year to purchase the original Day Designer. It arrived in a beautiful box and packaging and was a reminder that presentation is everything.
FabFitFun Summer Box
This week was full of happy mail arriving on my porch. The day before I received my Day Designer I came home to my FabFitFun Summer Box. I will share more about my items next week but received over $250 worth of items for $49.99. This subscription box has been and continues to be my favorite box. Arriving quarterly, I feel it continues to be wroth the price. You can receive $10 off your first box by signing up here.
I’m excited to share that my husband James has changed companies and positions. The first of June he began training to with Movement Mortgage. We are excited to have him work for this dynamic and forward thinking company. James is excited to begin helping realtors and individuals and helping everyone to find that dream home.
If you are in the Central Kentucky area and considering purchasing a new home or refinancing, please consider allowing James to help you with the process. You can contact him via his webpage and find him on Facebook and Instagram. Please feel free to like his pages and share his information. In full disclosure, this is a shameless plug!
This short video shares the Movement Mortgage difference.
What You Missed From Me
This has been a post I’ve been thinking about for over a year. There is a correlation between what is in your underwear drawer and your self confidence.
I’m off to another full and busy weekend with friends and a baseball game with James’ father on Sunday. Wishing you a fantastic weekend.
