Do you feel like July has gone too quickly and this week flew by?
This is my regular reminder to make sure you stop every now and then and enjoy the moment. Kentucky has been blessed with a few days of beautiful clear blue skies and almost fall like temperatures and I’m looking forward to a weekend of the same. Today I wanted to share a few of my favorite posts via Megean’s Blogger Love. It’s always hard to narrow things down but I think you will find these interesting!.
Dear Parent: Love Your Child’s Nurse: Sarah from SometimesPhotojenik is a pediatric nurse which means she must care for the whole family. Parents with sick children often take their emotions out on the nurse who has been ordered to draw more blood or schedule another procedure. Sarah provides an inside perspective of being a professional caregiver to sick children and encourages parents to realize she (and most nurses in pediatric care) chose the pediatric population and care deeply. As someone who has worked in a Children’s Hospital, I can reiterate that working with this population is a calling.
I Choose To Love Me: I am so proud of Diana from This Imperfect Happiness for being brave in sharing her struggle with loving herself. She discusses her struggle with a lifetime of being overweight and her fear of always being criticized. She shares the precise ways she is learning to love herself flaws and all. This is a lesson each of us can use.
Styled Photography Resources and Getting the Most Out of Your Styled Stock Photos: My goal is to always have a resource of my own photographs to use on the blog but that is not always possible. Anne from Love the Here and Now has two wonderful posts on resources to find the perfect photograph that you just can’t take and follows it up on how to edit one photograph into 9 additional photos. These are certainly posts that you want to pin and return to!
How To Empty Your Inbox When It Is Overwhelming: The truth is I have 6 different email accounts and I know that many of you do too. Nina from Wear Flowers in My Hair began with over 50,000 and shares how you can control the out of control in box! Go ahead and start deleting!
Five Researched and Proven Nutritional Tips for Disease and Overall Health: I struggle with multiple food allergies and constant inflammation in my body. Although I have not been diagnosed with a specific autoimmune disorder, I have learned food truly is medicine and when I provide the correct nutrients, my body responds with health. Alexis from Chemistry Cachet has lived with rheumatoid arthritis for over 15 years and she has broken down the constant stream of information into 5 specific suggestions that have proven results.
