I believe that there is something to learn from each week and this week was a reminder to me on the importance of self care. The crazy Kentucky weather got the best of me with a cold that truly demanded a sick day at home. It’s important to listen to your body and understand that it truly does know what it needs. I’m not 100 % and scaling back on some of my planned weekend activities. Hoping to feel like enjoying a movie and dinner with my love for Valentine’s Day.
My choices this week revolve around self image, self confidence and how the world views what is presented.

This is a fantastic article on Linkedin regarding all of the specifics of the profile pictures in our lives. Did you know there is a site you can go to have photographs analyzed in regards to first impression? Many of us are not comfortable having our photo taken and we use selfies or cut ourselves out of a group photo. Take some time to explore what you want others to see when they click on your link to whatever site you are directing them.
A dream and a goal are two different things. We need to make room for each in our lives. I especially love the statement here to not edit your dreams. Sadly, I think many of us do edit our dreams not because the dream doesn’t can’t be reached but because of other reasons. There is a difference between a vision and dream board and we need both in our lives.
I couldn’t agree more with these 5 things Rachel from Small Towns and City Lights has stated. I especially love her reminder to call your loved one. Someday they will not be there and you will want to call them. ‘
