There are times when you simply have to prioritize and this time of year always seems to be one of those times for me.
I’ve taken another unintentional break from posting. The ideas and thoughts exist but I’ve found myself having to make decisions regarding where my time needs to be. I know that many reading this feel the same way and I want to encourage you to do what is best for you. Rest. Say No if you have to and don’t allow yourself to be overwhelmed.

Kentucky winters are notorious for being grey. This week I have pulled out my sun lamp and immediately felt a change in my mood. The combination of shorter days and winter weather can allow one to not see in the sun for weeks. I plan on writing a piece on the use of sunlamps and seasonal affective disorder. Meanwhile, this article is a start.

I think it is important to have an idea of individuals who are successful and can provide insight. I recommend only choosing a few at a time as it can easily become overwhelming and there messages can be overwhelming.
