Happy Friday Everyone! I’ve been on Spring Break from the college classes I teach and the week has been exactly what I needed. It’s been nice to have some down days that weren’t necessary because of snow. In honor of today being the first day of Spring, I’m sharing a few of my Spring Favorites.
I am finding that with each change of season, I find myself at Anthropologie buying something new for the kitchen. I couldn’t walk away from these latte bowls last week. it was a grey rainy day and the beautiful green called out to me. I purchased two in the green and two in yellow. The colors can’t help but make you smile and for $5 a piece, you can buy several.
If you are on a gluten free diet and searching for a snack, these NoGii bars are incredible. At first you could only purchase them online but now our local Costco has them and we buy them two bags at a time. Healthy and tasty!
I’ve finally returned to a regular workout routine and Ellen Barrett’s DVD’s are part of the reason. A mixture of pilates and yoga this particular routine will work every muscle in your body. Although I love Tracy Anderson’s Method, I find that Ellen is easier to follow. Many of her moves are similar to Tracy’s and make you feel like you have completed a barre class. I try others but keep returning to her.
I shared that I planted over 100 bulbs in our backyard after we built our house. Seeing the growth of new blooms is one of my favorite things about Spring.
A recent trip to the mall found me at The Limited. I hadn’t been in the store for some time and I loved all of the beautiful spring colors. I purchased a beautiful asymmetrical royal blue (it’s a great Kentucky Blue) tunic that I have worn multiple times. It’s a perfect transition piece. Sadly, less than two weeks later, it is now sold out in the stores and online. This Ashton Blouse is a similar fabric and can also be dressed up or down.
Have a Great Weekend and don’t forget to stop by for tomorrow’s Self Care Saturday post.
